In his professional practice he has been specialized as a litigator in the Courts in Commercial Matters (trademark law, arbitration, bankruptcy, bankruptcy proceedings, corporate, securities, national and international commercial contracts and consumer law), expert in the area of the Law of Protection of the Representative of Foreign Houses. He has participated as a counsel in negotiations about obtaining indemnities in the Headquarter of Mercedes Benz (2011), in Stuttgart, Germany and Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has participated in the reception of evidence at the Costa Rican Consulate in Miami, Florida, U.S.A. on indemnification of Volkswagen A.G. and Interamericana Transport Industries Inc. He has held meetings on bankruptcy proceedings in Rome, Italy, Tel Aviv, Israel, and Paris, France. Multiple meetings and legal assistance to clients in Panama on issues related to corporations and private interest foundations. He has also been a corporate advisor on commercial and banking contracts for important national and foreign firms. Notary Public with more than 35 years of professional practice.
ARBITRATION.
- He has been an arbitrator of the Chamber of Commerce of Costa Rica.
- Has attended arbitration processes (litigation) at the CICA and at the Real Estate Property Conciliation Center.
- Currently arbitrator at the Conciliation and Arbitration Center of Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce (2022-2023).
- Received arbitration training at the Postgraduate Course in Commercial Law. University of Costa Rica 1991, taught by Dr. Víctor Pérez Vargas.
